Working remotely, the Medical Coding Specialist will perform advanced coding of medical data within clinical trials, ensuring accuracy and compliance while collaborating with clinical and data management teams. Key responsibilities Perform advanced medical coding of diagnoses, procedures, and medications using standard coding systems such as MedDRA and WHO Drug Ensure coding accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple clinical studies Collaborate with clinical and data management teams to resolve complex coding discrepancies and queries Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field Proven experience in medical coding, preferably with MedDRA and WHO Drug, within a clinical research setting Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements for medical coding Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy in medical data Experience working in cross-functional teams with effective communication and collaboration skills
