With our mission to help local businesses thrive at the forefront of everything we do, we were able to build a team of some of the most experienced press operators, bindery experts and mail professionals in the market today. Although we started out of necessity, we have grown into a full-service, one-stop shop, for businesses around the country. THE POSITION We are seeking a hands‑on, hard‑working, detail‑oriented professional to join our team. The Bindery Operator I ensures accuracy and quality of products produced out of the Stitcher/Trimmer and Inserter areas. JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES Set up and calibrate the Stitcher/Trimmer and Inserter Navigate Stitcher software to make any needed adjustments before and during a run Cycle the Inserter machine to sync the pockets and feeder sensors Find and move job files to the correct folder on the Inserter Set up and calibrate the stacker to ensure neat, square and uniform bundles Inspect and replace belts and strapping Utilize Videojet software to import files and change job parameters as necessary Operate Kyocera, Kodak, and Taba printers Load and change label rolls on the Inserter Maintain knowledge of machine coding, error messages, reporting, and machine troubleshooting Perform Daily, Weekly and Monthly maintenance on the Stitcher/Trimmer and Inserter Requirements TEAM MEMBER EXPECTATIONS We have high expectations of our team and expect every team member to possess and demonstrate the following characteristics: Positive attitude and a strong work ethic Hold to our core values: Faith, Passion, Quality, Innovation, and Integrity The genuine desire to achieve your very best and improve every day The initiative to identify opportunities for organizational improvement and the drive to take action and ownership in helping the organization succeed both by contributing individually and working together as a team In addition to general team member expectations, this role specifically requires the following: QUALIFICATIONS Minimum requirements: 2 or more years of experience with offset printing Excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods Available during 1st shift hours of 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday Ability to work occasional weekends or variable shifts based on business needs Preferred qualifications: Mechanical and machinist skills Extensive knowledge of paper characteristics and its effect on production and quality COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS We offer a competitive and attractive package of compensation and benefits including health insurance, 401(k) plan, paid vacation, sick pay, and paid holidays.
